Bastion Builder

Terms of Service

The service

Bastion Builder is a free, open-source tool for planning a D&D Bastion. It runs entirely in your browser. Using it does not create an account with anyone — there's nothing to sign up for except the optional Google or Dropbox sign-in used by cloud sync.

Your content

Everything you create in the app — bastion designs, notes, hireling rosters — is yours. The app doesn't claim any rights to it, and (outside the optional cloud sync you control) doesn't send it anywhere.

Optional cloud sync

If you connect cloud sync, you're also bound by Google's Terms of Service or Dropbox's Terms of Service for the access you grant. See the Privacy Policy for what that access covers.

No warranty

This software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The D&D Bastion system it helps you track is house-ruled and reference material only — it is not official guidance and doesn't replace your table's rulings or the published rules.

Software license

Bastion Builder's source code is released under the MIT License. You're free to inspect it, self-host your own copy, or contribute back.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator of this instance and the software's authors aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, including loss of data you chose to store outside your own device (e.g. in your Google Drive or Dropbox via cloud sync).

Who operates this instance
